The U.S.-based industrial automation company Rockwell Automation announced it will launch two offices in Ankara and Konya by 2022, in addition to its existing operations in Istanbul, Bursa, Gaziantep, and Izmir. Rockwell Automation Turkey became the fastest growing branch among the company’s Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) operations in 2020. The firm grew by double-digit figures in EUR after completing the first nine months of the fiscal year as of June. Rockwell Automation has shifted to a single distributor model in Turkey, according to Ediz Eren, Country Director of Rockwell Automation Turkey. “Our goal is to achieve rapid growth, particularly in the Aegean, Mediterranean and Central Anatolia regions,” said Eren.
