Operating in various sectors, Bera Holding recorded a sales turnover of TRY 1.6bn with its five subsidiaries in 2020, including Konya Kagit. “Although employment decreased in the paper sector globally, Konya Kagit managed to retain its employment levels while also avoiding production cuts,” said Cemalettin Tunc Efe, Konya Kagit. Golda Gida, another subsidiary operating in the food industry, reached an export volume of USD 20m and exported its products to 83 countries in 2020, according to Fatih Dogan, General Manager of Golda Gida. “We directly employ 400 people. Our goal is to enter the Far East market with different product investments in 2022,” said Dogan. Bera Holding subsidiary Divapan, meanwhile, takes 5-10% share in the medium density fiberboard market. “Our company, which is especially strong in the Eastern Mediterranean region, has managed to increase its market share in other regions, notably the Marmara, said Muzaffer Aydemir, General Manager of Divapan.
