Yunsa, the integrated high-segment wool fabric manufacturer, was awarded the TPM Excellence Award by the Japan Institute of Plant Maintenance (JIPM) for the “Total Productive Maintenance” activities it has been carrying out since 2012. Yunsa became the only textile company in Turkey to receive the prestigious award. The company’s management model differs from others in the way that it includes both white-collar and blue-collar employees. The award certifies Yunsa’s excellence in practices including employee well-being, safety, and morale, production, quality, maintenance, cost, environment, sustainability along with its contributions to cultural change.
