Yildizlar Yatirim Holding’s forest products subsidiary, Yildiz Entegre, will grow by nearly 50% and record an annual turnover of TRY 35bn this year.
The company invested in maritime logistics to overcome the raw material supply problems following the Russia-Ukraine war.
Yildiz Entegre, whose port investment will become operational by the end of 2023, has also bought a new vessel with a USD 13m investment.
“We manufacture 14,000 cubic meters of plate per day at our eight factories in Kocaeli, Mersin, Bolu at home and Romania and Slovenia abroad,” said Melike Alkan, Marketing and Product Development Head at Yildiz Entegre.
The company, which employs 3,000 people, recorded an annual turnover of TRY 23.5bn last year.
