TURKISH MADE SAR 9X WINS U.S. EDITORS’ AWARD

Developed by the local pistol manufacturer Sarsilmaz, Turkey’s first original and domestic pistol, the SAR 9X, has been awarded the 2020 Editor’s Choice Award by the defense magazine ‘On Target’ in the U.S. The SAR 9 is an outstanding duty gun designed and developed by Sarsilmaz within the scope of the ‘Original Domestic Pistol Project’ launched by Turkey’s Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB). The SAR 9 completed 50,000 round test without a problem. In addition to its durability, SAR 9 was also successful under harsh climate conditions.
