The Industrial Development Bank of Turkey (TSKB) aims to provide USD 200m in financing for solar energy power plants (SEPPs), according to Volkan Karaben, Head of Corporate Banking Sales of TSKB. The bank financed 330 renewable energy projects over the last 20 years. 162 consist of SEPP projects. TSKB provided USD 250m in financing to over total 250 megawatts of installed power to date. “Offering the right resource models for the financing needs of SEPP projects is one of our top priorities. SEPPs are crucial for our country to transit into the low-carbon economy,” said Karaben.
