TP Electric and Vestel have reached the testing stage for their electric vehicle (EV) charging column. Tests will be completed within two months and the device will then be ready for mass production, according to Sayim Tutuncu, CE• of TP Electric. “The prototype has been built and the certification process the EV charging column continues,” he said. TP Electric manufactures over 4,000 different products including energy production and distribution enclosures from 16 amperes to 125 amperes. The company currently manufactures EV charging sockets and exports to Denmark. TP Electric exports 45% of its production to nearly 40 countries. The company supplies its products to over 20 sectors including heavy industries such as refineries, shipyards, construction fields, and marble and ston e quarries.
