The outbreak of a hot conflict in the Middle East after the Russia-Ukraine war shocked the world, especially the region countries.
The possibility for the Israeli-Hamas war to spread to other regions remains uncertain; the world is concerned over economic and commercial losses caused by it, in addition to the humanitarian dimension.
On the one hand, Turkey offers to mediate and soothe tensions between Israel and Palestinians; on the other hand, logistics sector representatives said operations have halted at the ports in the war area, and there are concerns that some can be shut down.
The interruptions in those ports threaten Turkey’s bilateral trade with Israel and Palestine and Turkey-connected freight of Syria, Jordan, and Asia.
On the other hand, cruise ships that try to move away from Israel have started to recreate their routes. Some headed towards Turkey, and others departed to Egypt and Cyprus.
