Turkey’s aiport operator, TAV Airports, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Uzbekistan’s Innovation Ministry on the modernization of Uzbekistan’s airports in accordance with international standards and new technologies. “We’ll work toward developing and modernizing airports in Uzbekistan as well as cooperating in the fields of adopting new technologies and advancing human resources,” said Sani Sener, CEO of TAV Airports. The company will start work with Uzbekistan’s Innovation Ministry for projects in Tashkent and other airports in the country. TAV Airports operates 15 airports in 8 countries.
