Home appliances company Sunny penetrated the UK market and set up an office in the country this year, according to Adem Atmaca, Chairman of the Board of Atmaca Elektronik. The company cemented an agreement with Samsung during the pandemic to manufacture smart phones. Germany is on Sunny’s radar after the UK. “We have increased our domestic market share to 16% in the last three years. Nearly 30% of our
sales revenues were earned from abroad in 2020. We also increased our exports with sales to Italy and Greece from 17% to 30%,” Atmaca said. The company has a wide product range, from televisions and satellite receivers to small home appliances, which are manufactured under the Sunny brand. It exports to 42 countries and has a facility in Esenyurt Istanbul.
