SANMAR BUILDS ENVIRONMENTALLY-FRIENDLY FLEET

Operating in the shipbuilding industry, Sanmar Denizcilik builds high-tech and environmentally friendly tugboats and provides maritime guidance services. The company is the largest global partner of the naval architecture and marine engineering firm Robert Allan (RAL) in tugboat design. Sanmar has built nearly 250 tugboats designed by RAL and has exported its products around the world. The company has been offering tugboat and guidance services for 30 years. “We offer 30– 80-tonne bollard-pulls tugs with high maneuver capacity and firefighting systems at our shipyards in the Gulf of Izmit, Nemrut/Aliaga and Antalya2 regions while we offer guidance services in the Samsun-2 shipyard,” said Cem Seven, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sanmar Denizcilik. Sanmar Denizcilik, which boasts the world’s first Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) tugboat and autonomous vessel, recently won the tugboat tender for Canada’s energy project LNG Canada.
