REYSAS TO SET UP CONTAINER FACILITY

The logistics company Reysas has made an investment decision to build a container facility, according to Durmuas Doven, the company’s Chairman of the Board. Initially, the company plans to spend USD 15m. “We’ve begun searching for land to produce 5,000 to 10,000 units,” said Doven. Reysas will also manufacture containers for special purposes, for which demand has increased during the pandemic. The company will increase annual production to 50,000 units in five years and has plans to introduce fully-automated processes to its production line. “Our goal is not only meeting domestic demand but also exporting to Europe and the Middle East. China isn’t able to respond to demand quickly and it creates USD 1,700 shipping costs,” Doven said.
