CAKAR BECOMES BOARD MEMBER OF TWF

Alpaslan Cakar, CEO and Board Member of Ziraat Bank, has been appointed Member of the Board of Directors of the Turkey Wealth Fund (TWF) with a Presidential Decree published in the Official Gazette. Cakar was appointed CEO of Ziraat Bank in March and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank Associations of Turkey (TBB) in April. Cakar received his bachelor degree from Ankara University’s Department of Public Administration and started his professional career at Ziraat Bank in 1996. He has taken on many roles at Ziraat Bank, including his last role as Executive Vice President for Retail Banking.
