Operating on five continents with its menswear brands D’S Damat and Damat Tween, Orka Holding plans to establish a logistics base in Italy.
The holding company has over 20 stores in Italy, where it will manage its European omnichannel operations.
With this step, Orka Holding plans to operate its logistics, e-commerce, and retail activities more efficiently and robustly in Europe.
“We carry our logistics operation to Bologna as we consider the city a logistics base of Europe,” said Suleyman Orakcioglu, Chairman of Orka Holding.
The holding company plans to launch stores in the U.S. to strengthen its presence there.
“We will also open stores in London, Cairo, Cameroon, Dagestan and Algeria soon. We will reach 205 overseas stores at the end of 2023,” Orakcioglu noted.
The holding company, which grew by 40% on a dollar basis in January-September, aims to exceed its USD 50m export target at the end of this year.
Orka Holding is also preparing to launch its third manufacturing plant, which will become operational next year.
The holding company will invest TRY 100m at the factory to be set up in Giresun at the first stage.
