Oral Tuntas named GM of Papilon

Oral Tuntas has been appointed General Manager (GM) of Papilon. Tuntas will be responsible for operation of advanced technology product and services developed by the company at home and abroad in his new position. Tuntas will also lead the R&D and Production Center of Papilon, focusing on biometric technologies, multimedia processing and analysis, smart security, digital human motion analysis, autonomous systems and ready-to-use Artificial Intelligence (AI). Tuntas has worked at various positions in IBM (International Business Machines) Turkey since 1986, and has served as Global Business Partners Country Manager for the company since 2014. Tuntas has 34 years of international experience in the information industry. Tuntas graduated from Istanbul Technical University’s Department of Engineering. He completed his master’s degree in Engineering at the same university.
