Maysan Mando, the shock-absorber manufacturer and subsidiary of Cukurova Holding and South Korean Mando Group, has increased its production volume 5-fold over the past decade. The company aims quintuple in size again, this time in half the time, with the addition of new product lines. The company’s facility, which currently has a production capacity of 7 million shock-absorber units per year, is also capable of expanding up to 12 million units. According to Tulay Hacioglu Sengul, General Manager of Maysan Mando, the company plans both to sustain its position in the domestic market and to pursue an aggressive growth policy in the markets which it hasn’t penetrated, “We updated our structure in accordance with this and we set up a department specific to business development and export,” said Sengul.
