LATIN AMERICAN AGENCIES TO CREATE THE ‘ERCIYES PACKAGE’

After making a name for itself as a winter tourism hotspot, the Erciyes Ski Resort is now drawing the attention of Latin American agencies and tour operators. More than two dozen travel agencies and tour operators from Columbia, Brazil and Mexico will begin offering Erciyes packages following a meeting held in Erciyes with the participation of Kayseri provincial Governor Sehmus Gunaydin, Kayseri Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism Sukru Dursun and Kayseri Erciyes A.S. Chairman Murat Cahid Cingi. As a result of its international marketing efforts, the Erciyes Ski Resort attracted tens of thousands of foreign tourists from around the world, notably Russia, Ukraine and Poland, in recent years. Its next target market is Latin American.
