Celebrating its 150th anniversary, the coffee manufacturer Kurukahveci Mehmet Efendi will invest TRY 284.5m in capacity increases of its production plant located at Istanbul Dudullu Organized Industrial Zone, according to the Ministry of Technology and Industry’s Investment Incentive Certificate data for April. The company will import USD 32.8m in machinery and equipment for the relevant extension works. The total annual capacity of the facility will rise to 18 million kilograms of packaged Turkish coffee and 622,000 kilograms of granular filter coffee at the end of this investment, while 50 additional people will be employed.
