The on-demand fast grocery delivery service Getir has reached the valuation of USD 2.6bn with USD 300m investment.
The on-demand fast grocery delivery venture Getir has become a unicorn by exceeding USD 1bn of value, according to Nazim Salur, Founder of Getir. Established 5 years ago, the company has become the first startup in Turkey by receiving investment. Accordingly, Salur announced with an online press conference that Getir has reached a valuation of USD 2.6bn with USD 300m investment.
Getir has attracted USD 128m led by the Silicon Valley’s investors Michael Mortiz. The venture used this investment for international expansion, opened to London and started works for Paris, Berlin and Amsterdam.
