Operating in electronics, professional network technologies, telecommunications, machinery and equipment industries, Most Makine will set up a special steel and superalloy production plant in Izmir with an investment valued at EUR 500m. Turkey doesn’t manufacture special steel and superalloy and completely relies on imports. The facility will meet 165,000 tonnes of the country’s 400,000-tonne annual special steel needs, according to Yusuf Atalay, Chairman of the Board of Most Makine. The company will start production in 2023. 2,000 people will be employed at the investment stage, while additional 1,000 people will be employed at the operation phase.
