nsurance company Anadolu Sigorta has signed the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) established by the United Nations (UN) Global Compact and UN Women. Thus, Anadolu Sigorta will contribute to Turkey’s sustainable development by fulfilling the principles required by the document. The company shows an equitable and egalitarian approach in all human resources processes with the principle of equal opportunity for all, according to Mehmet Sencan, General Manager and Director of Anadolu Sigorta. “Gender equality in society is among the most important milestones we should strive for in our goal to reach international objectives in the fields of development, sustainability and human rights,” said Sencan. Female employment reached 51% in 2020 at the company while 43% of top and medium level executives consist of women.
