Machinery manufacturer Elite Makine plans to enter the software industry and to export to Europe and the U.S., according to Kursad Orhan, founder of Elite Makine. “Our infrastructure works are continuing for the software sector and we are working on our own software,” said Orhan. The company outsources some of its services but it carries out its own R&D studies. Elite Makine exports machinery to Spain and Italy as well as Tajikistan, Algeria and Uzbekistan. “All European countries and the U.S. are our target markets for export,” said Orhan. After launching its operations in Gaziantep with two employees, Elite Makine has expanded to 24 people. The company manufactures machinery in three main categories, including carpets, food and cardboard bobbins.
