Citi has appointed Ebru Pakcan as the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Developing Markets Head. In her new position, Pakcan will be responsible for the management of 59 emerging countries in the EMEA region. Pakcan will also report to Citi’s EMEA CEO David Livingstone and will be a member of the bank’s EMEA Management Committee. Pakcan started her Citi journey in Turkey, playing various regional and global roles in the Global Transaction Banking business line comprising cash management, foreign trade and trade products. Pakcan continued her professional career as EMEA Global Transaction Banking Head at Citi between 2016-2020. Prior to her new position, she worked as Global Head of Foreign Trade and Trade Products Department at Citi responsible for offering finance and intermediary services for corporate customers in the global network of the bank.
