Consumer price index (CPI) increased by 61.78% annually and 3.23% monthly
A change in general index was realized in CPI (2003=100) on the previous month by 3.23%, on December of the previous year by 28.76%, on same month of the previous year by 61.78% and on the twelve months moving averages basis by 65.93% in July 2024.
Clothing and footwear with 39.57% was the main group that indicated the lowest annual increase. On the other hand, education with 104.50% was the main group where the highest annual increase realized.
In July 2024, clothing and footwear with -2.58% was the main group that indicated monthly decrease. On the other hand, housing with 8.08% was the main group where the highest monthly increase realized.
In July 2024, within indices of 143 basic item (Classification of Individual Consumption by Purpose-COICOP 5 Digit Level) in the index, the index of 24 basic item decreased and the index of 4 basic item remained unchanged while the index of 115 basic headings increased.
A change in CPI excluding unprocessed food, energy, alcoholic beverages, tobacco and gold was realized in CPI (2003=100) on the previous month by 2.47%, on December of the previous year by 28.48%, on same month of the previous year by 60.31% and on the twelve months moving averages basis by 68.37% in July 2024.
