Adana-based Catalbas, operating in the energy, automation, fiber network
and communication sectors, the has undertaken the fiber-optic infrastructure work at the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant (NPP). Accordingly, the company will build four communication towers and 10,000 meters of fiber-optic infrastructure, according to Mehmet Catalbas, General Manager of Catalbas Electrik Enerji Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Sirketi. The company is also carrying out electric and automation work at its Adana-based partner Cukurova Silo in Turkmenistan, Nigeria, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Russia, Armenia and Romania. Catalbas also has carried out the Mersin International Port’s
infrastructure and superstructure works in fiber networks since 2019. The company recently completed treatment modernization work at the Adana Organized Industrial
Zone.
