With the change made in the AK Party bylaw, the number of AK Party Deputy Chairmen was increased to two. Information and Communication Technologies Directorate was established. Within the scope of the regulation change, the number of permanent members of the Central Decision and Board of Directors (MKYK) was increased from 50 to 75, and the number of substitute members from 25 to 35.
Including Binali Yildirim, ex-prime minister, Resul Kurt, Bekir Bozdag, Metin Kulunk, Samil Tayyar, Tugba Vural Cokal, 47 new people were included in the AK Party’s new MKYK of 75 people.
Twenty-two names were excluded from the AK Party’s current MKYK of 50 people. Unlisted names include: Ahmet Arslan, Ahmet Sorgun, Ahmet Tan, Cevdet Yilmaz (He became the Chairman of the Plan and Budget Committee), Erol Kaya, Eyup Ozsoy, Gokcen Ozdogan Enc, Haluk Ipek, Harun Karacan, Hatice Kubra Gokkaya, Iffet Polat, Lutfi Elvan, Mahir Unal, Mehmet Akif Kahya, Metin Yavuz, Mustafa Atas, Mahmut Atilla Kaya, Osman Nuri Goksan, Tugba Isik Ercan, Vildan Polat, Yavuz Subasi, Zehra Taskesenlioglu Ban.
