Providing government support and innovation consultancy services with its Univation brand, Bilen Patent established nearly 300 R&D and design centers in 17 years, according to Omer Kocakusak, Chairman of the Board of Bilen Patent Univation. Established in 2004, the company provides a wide range of services in the country and abroad, from research to registration certificates regarding trademarks, patents, industrial designs, domain names and copyrights and from rival-technology tracking to representation at the court. Bilen Patent also provides consultancy services for major brands included in the Turquality program. “In this way, many companies receive back their domestic and foreign trademark, patent, R&D, export and promotion expenditures from the government as a grant,” said Kocakusak. Bilen Patent has a team consisting of 70 people, including academicians, at its Bursa, Istanbul and Konya offices.
