The number of daily deliveries of the cargo company Aras Kargo increased by 40% during the full lockdown period between April 29-May 17, compared to the previous year, and tripled compared to the pre-pandemic period, according to a statement by the company. Technology, digital transformation and infrastructure investments made recently by the company has enabled a rapid adaptation to the pandemic. Aras Kargo has invested TRY 300m alone in technology infrastructure and operational improvement. “We processed two million deliveries on May 17, the last day of the full lockdown,” said Utku Ayyarkin, General Manager of Aras Kargo. The number of deliveries of the company totaled 200 million in 2020.
