Aksa Energy’s net profit increased by 43% to TRY 470m in 2020, according to the company’s statement to the Public Disclosure Platform. Meanwhile, the turnover of the company also rose by 30% to TRY 7.2bn. The company completed agreements on power plants in Uzbekistan to reach an installed power of 740 MW, according to Cemil Kazanci, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aksa Energy. The company also started energy exports to Iraq at the beginning of this year. The company plans to add the Congo to its power plant investments in different countries in Africa in 2021.
