Akbank has joined The Valuable 500, a global initiative to support the inclusion of people with disabilities in business, making it the first bank and institution from Turkey to participate. Making the commitment to support the inclusion of individuals with disabilities in business in 2021, Akbank becomes one of the leading institutions dealing with the issue, according to a company statement. The Valuable 500, launched at the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting in Davos in 2019, stands out as the only global executive (CEO) initiative concerned with transforming the system of the entire supply chain for the benefit of with disabilities. More than 400 executives from 35 countries have joined the initiative in two years.
