AEROSPACE PARTS TO BE MANUFACTURED IN AFYON

The first investment in the aerospace and defense industry in Afyonkarahisar has come from Artuk Aviation. Established with 100% domestic capital by the private sector for the first time in Turkey and the first to use additive manufacturing technology, Artuk Aviation will manufacture aerospace parts for the world’s aircraft giants. Focusing on civil and military aviation as well as the biomedical sectors, the company will become operational at full capacity in 2022. Artuk Aviations aims to be one of top 500 companies in Turkey within 5 years. Processing 30-micron thick titanium parts with the additive manufacturing technology, the company also is preparing to enter the medical products market. Investing TRY 10m to date, the total investment amount of the company will reach TRY 50m. Established under the guidance of an experienced team consisting of Turkish engineers, scientists and academicians, the company aims to lead the manufacturing structure in Afyonkarahisar, targeting high added-value industries such as aerospace and defense.
