Yildizlar Yatirim Holding’s subsidiary Yildiz Enerji has completed its first Solar Energy Power Plant (SEPP) investment worth TRY 20m, installing solar panels on the roof of Yildizlar Entegre’s nature conscious and eco-friendly facility located in Mersin.
An area of 26,400 square meters was covered with over 13,000 solar panels, equaling the carbon reduction capacity 11,000 trees. The SEPP will supply nearly 10% of the facility’s total electricity need. Moreover, electricity generated at the SEPP will be delivered to the general network in case of maintenance or breakdowns in the facility, supporting the national economy.
