Readymade and home textile manufacturer Yesim Group will expand its Agri production plant with a USD 30m investment, according to Senol Sankaya, its CEO. The company has started manufacturing for Tommy Hilfiger in this facility. “After gradually employing 5,000 people in the first stage, we aim to employ an additional 5,000 people. The plan is to increase employment to 1,700 for 2021 in this facility,” said Sankaya. The company also aims to increase production and export capacity with this investment. “When investment in Agri is complete and we reach 10,000 employees in total, our goal will be providing an addition al turnover of 25-30% to our existing capacity,” said Sankaya. The company set up its Agri facility in 2019 with an investment of nearly EUR 20m.
