Vodafone Turkey’s service revenues increased by 19.6% to TRY 3.9bn in Q1 of the 2021-2022 fiscal year, according to a statement from the company.
“We continued to grow steadily after increasing our service revenues in Q1,” said Engin Aksoy, CEO of Vodafone Turkey.
The company’s mobile subscribers exceeded 24 million while the total number of subscribers, including machine-to-machine (M2M) communication, reached 26.6 million in this period.
Vodafone Turkey’s postpaid subscribers surged nearly by 1.1 million to 15.7 million in Q1. The total mobile data usage rose by 40.3% to 742.2 petabytes.
“We are collaborating with public authorities on Turkey’s preparation for 5G. 5G applications have already started to run on our existing network,” said Aksoy.
