Ulker Biskuvi increased its turnover to TRY 9.4bn in 2020, according a statement to the Public Disclosure Platform. The company’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) rose by 24.4% to TRY 1.6bn while its share of exports and overseas operations reached 50.1% and domestic operations increased by 18.6%. All facilities in Turkey have obtained TSE COVID-19 Safe Production certificates from the Turkish Standards Institution, according to Mete Buyurgan, its CEO. The company also strengthened its position in the Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia and raised its sales in Kazakhstan. Accordingly, its exports and overseas operations rose by 23.4%.
