The Tekfen Holding subsidiary Toros Tarim is conducting studies on new generation fertilizers that reduce nitrogen emissions, according to Mehmet Sadikoglu, General Manager of Toros Tarim. The company also aims to increase its regional power in exports and extend its global foot-print incrementally. “Our exports increased by 33% in 2020, compared to the previous year. We export to 12 countries, from India to Kenya and
Spain,” said Sadikoglu. The company takes 38% share in the country’s total installed mineral fertilizer production capacity, while it also manufactures organic and organomineral fertilizers. “We reached a total fertilizer sales volume of 2.1 million tonnes, including 1.7 million tonnes at home and 455,418 tonnes abroad,”
said Sadikoglu.
