The U.S.-based plastics and chemicals marketing and distribution company Vinmar has started talks to acquire two chemical subsidiaries of Arisan Group.
If the agreement is reached, the group subsidiaries Arisan Kimya Sanayi and Transal Arisan Kimya will fully be incorporated by Vinmar.
Vinmar plans to acquire the subsidiaries through Veser Kimya, which was acquired by the U.S. firm five years ago.
Vinmar became the sole owner of the textile chemical company Alfa Kimya and its subsidiary Bursa Alfa Kimya in 2021.
The company entered Turkey five years ago when it bought Veser Kimya.
Vinmar, which has an annual turnover of USD 5bn, has over 50 offices in more than 35 countries with sales in excess of 110 countries.
