Total investments made by glass company Sisecam in the first half of the year (H1) amounted to TRY 838m while its export volume totaled around USD 327m, according to a statement from the company. Sisecam will make its first facility investment in Europe in Hungary. “This greenfield facility with a capacity of 330,000 tonnes will begin production in 2023 and reach full capacity in 2025,” said Gorkem Elverici, CEO of Sisecam. The company also plans investments in the country to increase the current 2-million-tonne float glass production capacity by 25%.
