The Russian Association of Tour Operators ATOR announced that its affiliated tour operators have reported a significant increase in early booking volumes in Turkey this year. “Early bookings for tours to Turkey for summer 2024 are doing better this year than last year. According to the latest data, tour operators sold on average 60% more summer tours to Turkey than at the beginning of February 2023,” the statement said.
Tour operators note a significant increase in the volume of early bookings in Turkey this year, mainly due to the expansion of the geography of departures and the earlier start of promotions.
According to ATOR, prices in rubles for the summer months in Turkey have generally increased compared to last year, but less than in euros; many Turkish hotel operators have reduced prices in euros for Russian operators this year. By the end of March, all operators are expected to have established their flight schedules to Turkey.
