The U.S.-based international hotel chain Radisson Hotel Group aims to have 50 hotels in total in Turkey at the end of 2023, according to Ramsay Rankoussi, Vice President and Head of Development of Africa and Turkey of Radisson Hotel Group.
The company, which has over 35 hotels in operation and under construction, inked a deal with over six hotels in the last 24 months in the country. Radisson Hotel Group will launch two more hotels in March.
“Half of our hotels currently operating and under construction are located in Istanbul. That’s why Istanbul is at the heart of our strategy. We plan to sign more than 10 hotel agreements in Turkey this year,” said Rankoussi.
The mission of Radisson Hotel Group is to be more effective in Turkey and to bring more Turkish talent into the industry.
“Turkey continues to be our priority. That’s why we’ve accelerated our program for the country,” Rankoussi added.
Radisson Individuals, the new brand launched by the international hotel chain, will be established in existing hotels across the country soon.
