Net sales revenues of Global Yatirim Holding subsidiary Naturelgaz increased by 46% to TRY 125.2m in the first quarter (Q1) of 2021, while the company’s net profits totaled TRY 858,000 during this period, according to Hasan Tahsin Turan, CEO of Naturelgaz. “Our earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBIDTA) rose by 49% in Q1, compared to the same period of the previous year. The increase in our sales volume and efficient cost management had a significant impact on this performance,” said Turan. Equities of Naturelgaz totaled TRY 358.1m, while the company’s sales volume increased by 49% to 48.2 million cubic centimeters. “Our net debt figure, which totaled TRY 105m at the end of 2020, posted a net cash surplus of TRY 26m with cash inflow provided through initial public offerings as of Q1,” said Turan.
