Koc Holding ’s subsidiary, Otokar, increased its turnover by 91% to TRY 877m, while its net profit rose to TRY 107m in the first quarter of 2021, according to Serdar Gorguc, General Manager of Otokar. The company also increased its exports by 44% to USD 69m in Q1, compared to the same period of the previous year. Otokar has signed new agreements during the pandemic. “We’ve focused on delivery of orders without interruptions in manufacturing,” said Gorguc. Otokar also increased its production by 32% in terms of units in Q1, compared to the same period of the previous year.
