The online bus and airline ticket sales platform oBilet has opened its portfolio to foreign websites in preparation for foreign passengers in local companies in the 2021 tourism season, according to Yigit Gurocak, Co-founder of the company. oBilet aims to develop new products in accordance with the rapidly changing travel habits this year. oBilet sold nearly 8 million tickets in 2020 despite COVID-19. Started in 2020 after increasing its investment volume up to USD 10m through the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development’s (EBRD) investment, the company doubled ticket sales during the semester holiday in 2020, compared to the previous year. The platform receives over 10 million visits per month.
