The U.S.-based multinational hotel chain Marriott International plans to expand its portfolio in Turkey with the aim to launch 10 hotels by the end of 2022. The company’s portfolio will reach 43 hotels in eight markets and over 7,000 rooms in this period. The company, which recently signed two agreements under the Four Points by Sheraton brand, will grow its presence in Turkey with new brands, according to Begum Kaya, Turkey Business Development Director of Marriott International. Residence Inn by Marriott, the firm’s long-term accommodation brand, is expected to be launched with Residence Inn by Mariott Istanbul Atasehir hotel to open this year.
