KOCSAVUNMA EXPORTS DEVICE

Koc Holding’s subsidiary, Koc Bilgi ve Savunma Teknolojileri AS (KocSavunma), signed a contract to produce an underwater communication device to be used in vessels of a foreign country as of the beginning of this year. The company also signed a sales agreement for the same product to be used in vessels of a foreign naval force in 2020. KocSavunma has a series of products, such as the Echorium Diving Detection Sonars, an Underwater Detection and Positioning System, Offshore and Inshore Weapon Scoring System, Acoustic Detection and Monitoring System and Underwater Environment Model. KocSavunma’s smart buoys have started to monitor marine pollution of the Gulf of Fethiye within the scope of the Smartium Blue social responsibility project carried out with the Turkish Marine Environment Protection Association (TURMEPA).
