Sinem Sandikci Gokcen has been appointed the first female country general manager of L’Oréal Turkey, to lead the company’s Turkey team. Gokcen, who has 21 years of professional experience in the sector, received her bachelor degree from Middle East Technical University’s Department of Business Administration. After starting her professional career in 2000 at L’Oréal Turkey, Gokcen worked in various positions at different business units before she was appointed marketing director. She then worked as brand development director of Ipek, acquired by L’Oréal Turkey. She continued her professional career as corporate communications director in order to localize L’Oréal Turkey’s ‘Beauty for all’ mission in the country. Gokcen worked as GM at the company’s consumer health business unit, corporate chief digital officer and GM of consumer products division.
