After becoming one of the country’s first unicorns, the on-demand grocery delivery service Getir will invest in the online shopping platform n11, according to a statement from Nazim Salur, Founder of Getir. The unicorn, which has operations in the UK, Netherlands, Germany, and France, is looking at possible partnerships and collaboration options with n11 and have completed preliminary talks to acquire shares of the e-commerce platform, Salur stated. Getir will make the highest investment in the country with this transaction. n11, which was founded under the umbrella of Dogus Planet in partnership with Dogus Group and the South Korea-based SK Group in 2013, brings together more than 20 million products and 270,000 business partners with over 23 million users. Getir, meanwhile, received nearly USD 1bn in investments and reached USD 7.5bn valuation in the first half of the year.
