Foreign investors made net sales of USD 444.1m in January, according to the Borsa Istanbul’s (BIST) data. Foreign investors became net sellers at BIST Stars with an outflow of USD 465.9m, net buyers at BIST Main market at USD 28.07m and net sellers in the BIST SubMarket at USD 4.79m, the data showed. Foreigners were net sellers by USD 1.93m at the pre-market trading platform and net sellers by USD 439,935 at the watch-list market. The biggest seller for foreigners was Koza Gold Corporation (BIST: KOZAL) equities with sales at USD 93.6m in January. Purchases at BIST amounted to USD 31.1bn while sales totaled USD 31.6bn in January. USD 26.7bn of purchases and USD 27.19bn of net sales were made at BIST Stars, while USD 4.4bn of purchases and USD 4.39bn of net sales were made at BIST Main market.
