Eti Maden Isletmeleri (Eti Mining Operations General Directorate) aims to increase its export volume to over USD 1bn by the end of 2021, according to Serkan Keleser, Chairman of the Board and General Manager of Eti Maden Isletmeleri. Eti Maden’s
exports fell to USD 770m in 2019 and USD 640m during the pandemic. Eti Maden aims to carry out over USD 1bn in boron exports in 2021 by selling all of its output for the year. The company currently sells one tonne of boron for USD 500 but plans to increase the price to USD 600-700 and eventually hit USD 3,000-4,000 with value-added products using high tech.
