Milk and dairy products manufacturer Eker has become the first company in Turkey to export milk desserts to Germany, according to a statement from the company. Eker also delivers its products through Germany to the UK through its distributor. The company received permission to export dairy products to the EU in August 2020. Eker made its first exports to Germany with bottled ayran and kefir products in September 2020. The company identified the milk dessert demand in the market and started the EU permission process. The product group exported to Germany consists of gum mastic pudding, milk and almond pudding (keskul), creme caramel, supangle, and chocolate nut cream.
